There is a lot of interest in the following code walk through, so we'll be doing it this upcoming meetup:
1. Loan Calculator.

SQLite programming.
2. SMS Bot
Android Action, View and Widget
SQLite programming
Location Service.
Use of Alarm Manager, SMS Manager
Content provider and address book data retrieval.
